Such an easy campaign to have to sadly rebuke. 1) The definition of toxic is “poisonous, injurious, deadly”. After eight years on the market, there has not been a single person harmed at any level so indeed the products are proven not to be toxic and we can confidently say are safe to use. 2) Here is a product, Chantix , that is in fact deadly yet still on the market and approved by the FDA. From USA Today: “In the last five years, 544 suicides and 1,869 attempted suicides have been reported to the FDA as “adverse events” in connection with Chantix, according to documents obtained by America Tonight under the Freedom of Information Act. Earlier this year, Pfizer spent close to $300 million to settle 2,700 Chantix lawsuits” And from the NY Times: “Now, after investigating an escalating number of complaints from doctors, patients, and health-care providers, the FDA was citing 34 suicides and 420 instances of suicidal behavior in the U.S. (caused by Chantix)”

This from the FDA’s infamous July 22, 2009 press release warning about e-cigarettes containing toxic chemicals, “Health care professionals and consumers may report serious adverse events (side effects) or product quality problems with the use of e-cigarettes to the FDA’s MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program either online, by regular mail, fax or phone.” On December 10, 2010 in the industry’s successful litigation with the FDA, Judge Leon wrote in the courts decision about the FDA’s desires to find individual’s harmed by e-Vapor products, “Regarding harm to third parties and to the public interest, the district court observed that the FDA had cited no evidence to show that electronic cigarettes harmed anyone”. That was over 4 years ago after we had already been on the market 4 years. It has been over 4 years since and still no one has claimed even a hiccup was caused by e-Vapor’s use and e-Vapor products require the State of California to warn the public? We should be applauded and subsidized by the state-not demonized.

Chantix came onto the market at basically the same time as the e-Cig, 2006 and is still approved by the FDA. There has not been a single person cited by any attorney, news agency, doctor or any governmental body as being at any level harmed by the use of any e-Vapor product-EVER-but rather we can cite over 6 million Americans who are not using a product, tobacco cigarettes, we know are directly linked to 450,000 deaths annually.

That is an amazing accomplishment that we are very proud of but do not have the resources to combat governmental bodies who have unlimited access to tax payers monies to spew their agenda and not our accomplishments and science.
