Forest Service Making a Huge Mistake

Recently the U.S. Forest issued a rule banning the use of e-Vapor products:

National Park Service bans electronic cigarettes from parks

Really? Are they also going to ban cameras with batteries? Cell phones? Radios? Hearing aids? All an electronic cigarette is comprised of is a battery and a closed cartridge containing a liquid. In the real world where responsible managers of these sacred lands rule, e-Vapor products would be encouraged as they are not lighting afire anything.  Simply Google “cigarette starts forest fire” to find 384,000 results.

If you want to dramatically reduce the risk of forest fires you ENCOURAGE the use of technologies like e-Vapor, not exclude them. Sadly it seems that now the U.S. Forest Service has become a political body and not a rational institution.
